For this week’s Throwback, we go to the recent past to showcase an invitation we created for the economic development corporation of Justin, Texas. The city wanted to attract attention to their booth at the International Council of Shopping Centers conference so they partnered with us to create a striking invitation that combines a single gold metallic ink and a beautiful gold stamp. We married new and old by taking traditional elements like scrolls, banners, and decorative elements and pairing them with elegant typography and a rich brown paper. The flavor is distinctly Texan and has a wonderful tactility that we felt the audience would take notice of.
