Gaining a deep understanding of your company is paramount and the discovery phase of our process gives us the insights and background necessary to create compelling ideas. This time is all about acclimating ourselves to your objectives, personality, tone and audience. It also involves understanding what you and your competition are doing that is working–and what is not. Only when we’ve accumulated this bank of knowledge do we begin the creative process. In the discovery phase we will define scope and provide documentation in the form of schedules, creative briefs, and estimates.
Graphic design is much more than pure execution, it’s communication. We become an extension or advocate of your brand and in that respect, your closest partner. It’s finding that “diamond in the rough” solution that gets you noticed and allows your message to be heard. We do this by giving you a range of options that all meet the objective outlined in the creative brief. Once a direction has been selected, we begin to refine and perfect it. We collaborate with you to hone the message and finesse the visual aesthetic. After the predetermined rounds of revision, the work is prepared for the next stage: development.
This is the stage where design begins to actually live and breathe. Printed projects become tactile and web experiences become immersive. The developers and production artists who take our ideas and manifest them are just as invested in getting the details right. Whether keeping us on the bleeding edge of web technology, or helping us achieve just the right printed effect, they turn creative ideas into tangible results.
Because a project is printed or a website is live doesn’t mean the job is over. In most cases it has just begun. How you promote, advertise and market your brand to your wider audience is something that we can account for early in the process. Squires has the team and the partners to take something from strategic design to a strategic multi-channel campaign.
